topic: Forum Rules & Guidelines

Posts 9
So as to ensure the smooth running of the forum we ask that all users accept and abide by the rules posted here.
(This is an early draft and we expect to vary this as time progresses.)

-No Spam
Please do not use these forums as a means to repeatedly advertise products or services.
And don't post the same message multiple times.

-All topics should be posted in the right sections
Please think about where your post should go. The Coal Mining Industry Discussion should cover those topics that don't fit in the other forums and if it is not specifically mining related there is the General Discussion: Off Topic forum.

-Respect others
Please, treat your fellow posters with respect. No flaming or trolling. Treat others and their opinions with the respect you would expect others to treat you with.

-Appropriate content
Please no discussion/promotion of illegal activities. No racist, sexist or derogatory comments. Treat the forum like a workplace location and consider what you say accordingly. So no posting of "adult" images or content.

Comments and posts made within the forum should not be reposted outside the forum without prior permission from the author.
Also the posting of peoples personal information such as addresses or phone numbers without express permission is also not allowed.

If you see a post that you find offensive or feel it violates the above rules please click the "report to moderator" link available at the top of each post. A moderator will then be notified of the post and can take appropriate action such as deleting the post, moving the post, locking/closing the conversation or banning users.

Thank you

topic: Forum is Now Live!

Posts 9
The Underground Coal forums are now live and are open for posting, replies and discussion.

Remember, to register you need to use an email address that has a domain that matches a list of registered mining companies in Australia.

If, during registration, you find that your email address is rejected please send an email to requesting that you be able to join the forums, or have your company/institution's domain added to our allowed list. Such requests will be considered on a case by case basis. (our list is not exhaustive but is considered an essential safeguard to ensure both accountability as well as to prevent spam and ensure a safe discussion environment)

Thanks and enjoy.
